About
I'm a Web Designer with experience in working in both e-commerce and agency with many different types of clients. My expertise is in visual web design, which includes research, design concepts, sketching and wireframing, interactive prototyping, producing high fidelity final assets and guidelines for production, and always using a keen eye for detail and final polish. As a Visual Web Designer, I stay true to my graphic design roots background, think like a UX designer, and always keep both short and long term product goals in mind of every project I work on.
I currently work as a Visual Web Designer at 1stdibs.com, where I collaborate with Product Managers/Director, Chief Product Officer, Web Developers, and UX designers/directors. During my time here I've focused mainly on buyer facing design projects, some which include redesigning product detail pages, improvements to search and browse pages and global navigation, to name a few. As a result of these design efforts, the company has seen significant conversion rates.
I hold a BFA in Graphic Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where I developed my core design skills. I’ve learned a great deal from both studying here and also in my career as a graphic designer and web designer, with knowledge in both web design and print design. I love to constantly learn more about the best practices in the UX and visual design field, by taking classes and attending the most up-to-date tech meetings in the industry. I’ve always been passionate about art and design, and have a strong work ethic, always determined to produce best results.
